Exciting news

More exciting news….

We have been on the journey of trying to raise some support for our family.  In the last year and a half, we had lost $1025 per month.  I must admit that the task seemed daunting.  We have been with Life Action for over 32 years and have asked everyone we know (at least that’s what it felt like).  Jimmy & I began to pray and make a list of the people we were going to send a letter to share our need.  Before we even sent the letter out, someone contacted us to let us know they were going to start supporting us!  SO AMAZING!!!!  They were “on the list” to send the letter to but God in His gracious way reminded me that he didn’t need me to raise the money.  We have so many stories of how He has continued to lay it on people’s hearts to give (45% of the support raised were from people that didn’t even receive our letter).  God has brought in $665 and so we only have $360 left to raise.  It has been such a great experience for our boys to watch God provide.  We are all excited.  Thank you for praying.  

Heading out (during a pandemic)

Our first 2 summits cancelled.  We will be heading out this upcoming weekend to go to Gonzales, LA.  Our team is very ready to be back together and ministering in the churches.  We really have to just take 1 week at a time (sometimes even less) because we just can’t plan too far ahead with all the COVID changes.  We will be challenging the team (and ourselves) to have the mindset that when changes happen, and we are convinced that they will, “God must have something better”.
